Welcome to another episode of the Forgotten Maverick Podcast with Dallas Sports Fanatic, a podcast for fellow MFFLs where we interview former Mavericks players about their basketball career and time with the Mavs. On this episode, we caught up with Bruno Sundov, who was with the Mavericks from 1998 – 2000.
During our talk, Bruno discussed a wide variety of topics including his unique career path after getting drafted in the 1998 NBA draft, his arrival in Dallas, being rookies with Dirk Nowitzki, the arrival of Mark Cuban, playing with a rookie LeBron James in Cleveland, the difficulties of being a journeyman basketball player while having a family, and more.
It’s obvious Bruno has nothing but fond memories of his time in Dallas, and he echoes sentiments similar to other past Mavericks we have talked to that he still considers himself part of the Mavs family.
Thank you for listening, we hope you enjoy the episode!
