Dallas, TX. – February 7, 2018 – Today, Nextdoor, the neighborhood network, and the Dallas Mavericks, in partnership with Smith Thompson Security, are asking Dallas neighbors to nominate their Neighborhood All Stars.

Over the past six years, neighbors in more than 600 Dallas neighborhoods have embraced Nextdoor to get to know one another and make their communities wonderful places to live. Every day neighbors go above and beyond to help one another on the social network.  Now, Nextdoor, the Dallas Mavericks and Smith Thompson Security want to recognize those community members who are making their neighborhoods better places to live.

 Dallas residents can nominate their neighbors at nextdoor.com/dallas by sharing what they have done – in ways both big and small – to help their communities. Whether it’s the neighbor who maintains the community garden, plans the annual block party, or is simply there for others when they need it most, Dallas is full of All Stars who deserve recognition. 

 Nominations are open now through February 16, 2018 at nextdoor.com/dallas.  All Star Finalists will be chosen and then recognized during an upcoming Mavs game. Dallas residents will then vote for the winners. The top two finalists will receive a block party complete with visits from the Mascots, ManiAACs, Dancers, and Street Team. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Mavs block party complete with an appearance from a Mavs player.
