Report: Mavs offered J.R. Smith, Julius Randle in salary dumps
Hearing the Mavericks are weighing the pain vs. the gain of taking back big salaries. So far, per source, they are disinclined to take back late seconds with a heavy contract for any of their assets. Cap space more valuable. Details coming.

ALERT: Per @ESefko, #Mavs have been offered several players (J.R. Smith, D. Arthur, E. Mudia, A. Ajinca, J.Clarkson and J. Randle) in talks, but are wary that pick compensation isn't enough. Also, teams are offering low second-round picks for Salah Mejri.

Teams offering low second-rounder for Salah Mejri
Mejri has averaged 3.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 156 games in his three seasons with the Mavericks. He’ll be a restricted free agent in the offseason.
Apparently, per @ESefko, teams are only offering "a low second-rounder" for Salah Mejri. That's almost offensive.

Mavs focusing efforts on Julius Randle?
