Ehsan Azad: Yes, the Dallas Cowboys are 3-0 and they look unbeatable through the first three weeks. Sure, they have their problems and some injuries, but that is football. The core of your group is playing well and at a high level and you can’t ask more from that. The problem is that the Cowboys face off against a team that is far more talented than what they faced the last three weeks. This is on the road in one of the most hostile places ever, the SuperDome. The Saints are still a team that was in the NFC championship game last season. I could really see this being the game that Teddy Bridgewater goes off against a shaky Cowboys defense. Sorry, but my heart wants me to pick the Cowboys, but head is pulling me away. Give me the Saints to win this game,28 to 24.
Juwan Lee: The last time the Dallas Cowboys traveled into the Superdome they were led by a former first-round pick looking to prove his worth in Brandon Weeden. Surprisingly, the game extended to overtime before Drew Brees closed it out. So it’s ironic Dallas is up against that very storyline tonight. Despite Brees not being under center for the New Orleans Saints, Dallas will still walk into one of the more hostile atmospheres in the NFL. Teddy Bridgewater will captain the ship for the Saints offense, along with elite offensive weapons across the board. However, it’s a reason the Cowboys are 3-0. Say what you want about the competition, but until the Cowboys give me a reason to pick against them I’m going to continue to side with them. I didn’t expect a big day from Ezekiel Elliott last week, but I have the feeling this is the game that’ll show why elite running backs still have a market. Also, I’ve been disappointed through the first three weeks with the Cowboys unwillingness to aggressively attack the passer. I don’t see Kris Richard allowing Teddy Bridgewater to get comfortable and would expect to see heavy pressure sent his way early. I’m still holding out hope this defense matches their talent with the production we expect from them. I see a statement game from them tonight. Give me Dallas on the road 27-14.
Dylan Duell: I can only imagine how loud and raucous the Superdome crowd will be for Sunday Night Football. This is the Saints’ first home game since week one and Drew Brees’ injury. I really expect this to be a fight for Dallas even thouh the offensive output by Teddy Bridgewater and gang last Sunday in Seattle wasn’t very good at all. If Dallas can minimize their mistakes and don’t give the Saints any additional help via turnovers or crazy special teams plays, I expect the Cowboys to win a close game. Dallas 24, New Orleans 17.
