When Justin Anderson played with the Mavs, he had this pre-game handshake he would complete with forward Dwight Powell following the National Anthem that essentially ended with jumping high-fives.

Back in February, after Anderson was traded, along with Andrew Bogut and a protected first-round pick, to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Nerlens Noel, Powell still completed the handshake only with air high-fives as if Anderson was still there.

So far this season, Powell continues to pay homage with air high-fives in his to his former Mavericks buddy’s memory.

And Justin Anderson approves. We all miss Simba!
