The Dallas Cowboys enter week four with a 2-1 record following their victory over Arizona on Monday. The team is doing so with several players who are banged up. The team’s final practice report was released on Friday for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. With kickoff quickly approaching, let’s see who the Cowboys have rehabbing from injuries.

The team has a few key defensive players who are rehabbing from injuries. Sean Lee is the most notable player on the list, as he rehabs from a hamstring injury, Lee suffered the injury late in Monday night’s victory. He looks to be a game-time decision going into the Rams’ game. Lee’s absence would spell trouble for the Cowboys, as they look to contain a suddenly potent Rams offense highlighted by running back Todd Gurley. The team will continue to rely on Jaylon Smith to perform well, as a result.
The Cowboys look to be facing potential depth issues in the secondary, as well. Rookie cornerback Chido Awuzie is qestionable after suffering an injury against the Denver Broncos. He will look to get healthy quickly. The team has seen Jourdan Lewis, Kavon Frazier and Nolan Carroll pop up on the injury report during the last week. Lewis looks to be healthy ahead of the Rams game, but Frazier and Carroll’s statuses are less certain. Carroll looks to be the least likely to play, as he also missed last week’s game.
Looking at the inactive list for Sunday, the team has some tough decisions to make. In prior games, the team has had offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper inactive. That should change this week, as starting guard Chaz Green was added to the injury report on Friday with a hip injury. The team will probably keep two quarterbacks active, meaning Cooper Rush will be inactive. We can also assume that Anthony Hitchens will be inactive, although he has returned to practice this week as a limited participant. With Sean Lee a game-time call, the team will have a tough call. However, Lee could be forced to play with the amount of depth (or lack thereof) at linebacker. With that said, I think Lee will miss the game. With all this information, here is my guess at the inactive list for Sunday.
