Following a viral video showing Mavs forward Charlie Villanueva seemingly interrupt Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook and rather unknown rookie guard Cameron Payne’s pre-game dance routine/handshake, Westbrook responded to reporters following the team’s Game 2 85-54 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

“That’s fake s—,” Thunder forward Kevin Durant added.
In response to Westbrook and Durant’s comments, Villanueva posted a video on Twitter along with a message on his official blog on SportsBlog.com.
“If you want to go dancing and stuff like that, go to a nightclub, go to a club and dance, “ Villaneuva said. “Go to Dancing with the Stars and be a dancer. You want to battle and dance then we can battle, but not at a basketball game.”
There’s nothing wrong with what Charlie V during pre-game. It’s the playoffs. It’s a rivalry. You’re supposed to get under the opponent’s skin. If anything it makes for great conversation and banter among fans. It provides the Mavs with some swagger and edge, and that’s just what Villanueva brings to the table. As a leader in the locker room, he sets a tone and the team follows. Did you happen to catch Mavs’ rookie guard Justin Anderson jump in the mix when Charlie V stepped in front of Westbrook?
And don’t forget Villaneuva and Westbrook have history. Back in January, Villaneuva was ejected for grabbing Westbrook after he got tangled up with Mavs guard JJ Barea.

Villneuva went on to say the focus is and should be on Game 3, which takes place tomorrow night at the American Airlines Center.
