Legends look to extend streak to four against Grand Rapids

Legends look to extend streak to four against Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids will travel to Frisco on Friday night to take on the Legends.

Texas has been streakimg as of late, as they have ridden the play of their dominant front court to three straight wins.

One half of that front court is two way man Jonathan Motley. In their previous game, With Mavericks general manager Donnie Nelson on hand, the big fella put on a show.

A 27 point, 17 rebound, 3 block masterpiece against Memphis only added to the Motley call up train that has begun amongst Mavs fans.

With the NBA season approaching the all star break and Motley having only used 9 of his guaranteed 45 NBA days, it would seem his time is coming.

Motley and the Legends will take on a Grand Rapids team that has been middling through an uninspiring 13-14 start to the year. They do bost a couple of former NBA’ers on their roster in Dwight Buycks and K.J McDaniels though, who the Legends can’t afford to take lightly, especially considering their home struggles this season.

You can catch the game live at the Dr.Pepper arena in Frisco. The live broadcast will also be featured on FSSW, and streaming options are available through the G-League mobile app. Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. CST
