In case you have been on another planet over the 17-year career of Dirk Nowitzki, we should probably let you in on a not so big secret: “The German Wunderkind” loves to have some fun, especially with his teammates. That is why it shouldn’t surprise anyone to see Nowitzki playing the role of lovable bully to his German comrade, Dennis Schröder.
This is pure Dirk. Judging from the video, it seems like he took exception to some “palming” on the part of Schröder, and once Schröder responded, Nowitzki let him have it, in subtle fashion.
Keep your head up young buck and enjoy every second you have with this dude. He is the real deal, and will be sorely missed once his playing days are over. He may be losing his speed and vertical, but one thing he will never lose is his ability to make us all laugh and have a good time.
