DALLAS, TX–The Dallas Stars lost for the second time to the Colorado Avalanche in the preseason, falling 4-2 at the American Airlines Center on Monday night. In the team’s second home preseason game, the Stars were outshot by the Avalanche 36-24, but suffered a two-goal deficit in the second period that they were unable to overcome. The Stars are now 2-2 in the preseason. The Stars will play their final home preseason game tomorrow night at the AAC against the Minnesota Wild.
