A quick look at rookie guard Kyle Collinsworth and it’s not hard to see why the Mavs decided to invest in the 26-year-old guard out of BYU.
After signing a pair of 10-day contracts, the versatile 6-foot 6 swingman impressed the Mavs with his athleticism and defensive ability, ultimately rewarding him with a reported three-year contract. He’s averaged 2.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 10.5 minutes per game in 11 games for Dallas this season.
For Collinsworth, health has been largely been a contributing factor to his success on and off the court.
“I believe we were born to be strong and healthy and with the right nutrition and exercise we can claim what we were born to be,” Collinsworth explains on his website.
Now he wants to share the secrets to his success with the world.
Collinsworth recently released two e-books, “Born to Be Strong: A Guide to Reclaiming Your Natural Strong Body” and “The Power of Food: Body, Mind, and Spirit,” loaded with video tutorials, food charts, and recipes.
“The premise of both ebooks is to help people find a starting point that’s comfortable for them to progress,” Collinsworth says. “Healthy eating is a huge emphasis. It has the power to change the body, mind, and spirit.”
